CARE INSTRUCTION
Whether your lingerie is made of lace, satin or tulle, it's delicate and precious. Take good care of it, so you can wear it at its best for a very long time. Here are a few simple and easy-to-follow care tips!
MAChina WASH
Mixing white and color, you wouldn't have thought of that, would you? Well, you're right! Now that the products are sorted, put them in your washing net, to avoid snags with other clothes. No washing net? Don't panic, use a pillowcase and you're done! This will avoid snagging delicate materials such as lace. When it comes to detergents, use products designed for delicate linens and avoid fabric softeners (which may remain in the fibers and affect the elasticity of the products). Set your washing maChina to delicate mode (30° maximum) and spin at 800 rpm maximum. To dry, lay flat and do not use a tumble dryer.
HAND WASHING
If you have a little time or opt for hand washing, don't start without reading the tips and tricks below: A few minutes in cold water and you're ready to take your lingerie out to prevent the fiber from becoming damaged or soft. When spinning, don't twist your lingerie, but press it gently so that it retains its elasticity. Always use a mild soap, without rubbing. Dry flat in the open air. If you're washing hulls, don't fold them, as this will damage them. Avoid bleach: it doesn't make underwear whiter, but turns it yellow.
SILK CARE INSTRUCTION
Lingerie is made from fine, delicate materials that require a great deal of attention. This is particularly true of silk pieces, such as nightwear. Silk requires special care, and we recommend that you check the instructions on the labels to make sure you don't make any mistakes.
SILK WASHING
Silk is a particularly fragile material, and becomes even more so when wet. That's why we recommend washing your silk lingerie by hand. Separate colors to preserve them. Always use cold water, not lukewarm. Don't leave your lingerie to soak for too long: between 3 and 5 minutes maximum. Try not to crease your garments too much during washing. Use liquid detergent rather than washing powder. To remove a stain, dab gently without rubbing the silk. If the label indicates that maChina washing is possible, separate colors to preserve them. Be sure to use a delicate program or a hand-wash/cold-water program. Use a very mild detergent, preferably liquid, and avoid fabric softeners.
